The Mesare Eco Resort

1. Though a secluded place, it's literally awesome 2. Perfect stay with nature and greenery 3. Very big double beds and excellent open bathrooms 4. Very well maintained property 5. Staff is excellent and very helpful 6. Food is exceptionally good 7. Massage was good, not great, but it was in the open and not closed doors. However, they gave the option to get the massage done in our rooms itself, which was a flexible choice.

It was a lovely quiet location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They took their time to answer any questions help help with tourist info/bookings. And the food was great!

It is challenging to distill the Mesare experience down to a few favourable points because it is so much more than that. The design and layout of the entire resort and its location, immersed in nature and in amongst the lush green trees and foliage, and the delightful sounds and sights of nature everywhere, were an absolute highlight for my parents, and my husband and I. The pool setting, the yoga shala (also used for massages) were sublime. The villas are beautifully appointed, surrounded by trees, with an amazing outdoor shower. The views and tranquillity were just what we needed to unplug from the crazy world and reconnect again with what's most important...and this is where the people, the lovely staff at Mesare, play such a valuable and crucial role. What we love most about Bali are the friendly, helpful, positive, smiling personalities and people ...and Mesare's staff have all of this in bucket loads. Shery was our first point of contact, helping to arrange our transfers from the harbour, and she was the consummate professional throughout our stay (invaluable suggestions for trips and taxis, and timings, and ensuring smooth overall running for all the bookings and everything we wanted to fit in). She is also the loveliest person, and always professional and polite. She insisted we get breakfast on our last morning before we left, despite our early departure for the harbour.Very grateful for that too - thank you Shery and team! Her team mates at front of house /reception ...Ayu and Krisna were also wonderful (always so happy to help and ensure we had everything we needed). I cant remember all the lovely masseuse's names who did all of our massages, but my massage was hands down, without a doubt the best massage I have had in 20 years. Ive had a shoulder/arm issue/niggle for a year, which melted away during that massage. Wish Id had time for another one! I also only have great things to say about the restaurant staff.

We loved the location of the resort which is in the middle of the island so you can get to the north or south beaches in the same distance. The pool was amazing and the surrounding jungles as well. Staff was friendly and our bed was comfortable :)

My wife and I stayed here in 2025 during our honeymoon, right after our wedding in Italy — and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness that made us feel instantly at home. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and with all the comforts you’d want for a romantic escape. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the people. A special thank you to Shery — the heart and soul of this place. Out of all our travels, we’ve never met someone so genuinely kind, thoughtful, and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure every moment of our stay was special. Meeting her was a blessing, and she truly made us feel like family. If you’re looking for a magical place to relax, reconnect, and be treated with the utmost care — this is it. We wholeheartedly recommend it 🙏🏻 Thank you for the memories — we’ll be back.
